Fred Briggs is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology expert with a passion for robotic systems. Fred is currently President and CEO of Teq Strategy, a product development company that focuses on industrial robotics, drones, and IoT devices. Fred has developed industrial robots for a Fortune 200 energy company, IoT sensor networks for wind turbines, VTOL drones for the Armies Applied Research Lab as well as sensor payloads for the Navy.

For the last 5 years Fred has been an Adjunct Professor at James Madison University X-Labs where he teaches a class on robotics technology. He serves as the President of the Drone User Group Network which is a non-profit organization with over 20k members and he has previously served on the board for Nova Labs, a non-profit makerspace. Previously Fred co-founded InRoute Communications, an international Telecom company focused on wholesale international voice traffic which ran $14 million in traffic per year.

Jade Garrett

Jade Garrett is an entrepreneurial strategist that specializes in business development and resource facilitation for energy and hardware focused startups. She is currently executing a contract for the Department of Energy that is building the American-Made Network, an initiative that helps energy based startups get connected to a variety of resources and support from vetted organizations and national research labs.

Other notable accomplishments for Jade include:
One year appointment on Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe’s Council for Youth Entrepreneurship.
General Manager for TechShop, overseeing an open access manufacturing space with over 2 million dollars of manufacturing equipment for entrepreneurs.
Former business development manager for Iron Goat Technologies, an autonomous agricultural robotic startup that won 2 grand prize awards at the MIT Clean Energy Prize competition in 2016.
Stanford D. School University Innovation Fellow in 2016 and 2 years as a team mentor for new university students.

Callye Keen helps mentor entrepreneurs so that they can launch and grow physical product businesses. However, he has personally launched over 200 products and brought them into the market.
Callye has contracted with hundreds of DC area entrepreneurs for over a decade and earned the reputation as a prominent figure in both manufacturing and entrepreneurial communities.

Callye currently splits most of his time between being the Design Manager at K-Form, in Loudoun County VA and as the CEO of Red Blue Collective, a community centered organization that delivers experiential knowledge that benefits physical product companies at every stage of development. Any remanining time he is the Executive Director of the LOCI MindHive Incubator.
